VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR MUNICIPAL SECTOR

MTNS was referred by a satisfied customer to an association of municipalities who needed a cybersecurity assessment to identify risks in their environment. MTNS conducted internal scans to identify vulnerabilities in application servers and network devices, which could be exploited in a breach.

We also performed external penetration tests to characterize the attack surface visible from the public Internet. The findings were presented threat-risk register ranked by severity along with an actionable approach to risk mitigation. The assessment report has triggered a remediation program which has made an appreciable improvement to their cybersecurity posture.
